Imaginary Dimensions

Quantum Explanation

This simulation demonstrates how imaginary dimensions (orthogonal to our familiar 3D space) might influence particle behavior in observable dimensions.

Each particle has:

  • Real position coordinates (x, y)
  • Imaginary position coordinates (i, j)

The imaginary components interact through quantum-like potentials, creating emergent patterns in the real-space coordinates you observe.

Adjust the controls to see how changing imaginary dimension strength affects the visible particle behavior.
